Sunny Sunday, showers and thunderstorms on Monday!


Timing could not have been better as we are enjoying a warm and dry weekend sandwiched between rain events.

Today we will have mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures but still comfortable humidity, highs in the mid to the upper 80s.

Tonight increasing cloudiness with showers and thunderstorms developing, mostly after 2am, lows in the mid 60s.

Monday, showers and thunderstorms are almost certain to occur, mostly before 5pm, with the clouds highs will only be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday, becoming mostly sunny and less humid, still a slight chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm, highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Wednesday, mostly sunny, highs around 80.

Thursday, mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Warmer on Friday with highs in the upper 80s.

Yesterday I wrote that there was no heat wave in sight, however latest indications are showing more heat by next weekend with highs back in the 90s with higher humidity.

Marine forecast: Today, southwest wind less that 10 knots, seas around 1 foot.
Thunderstorms likely on Monday with winds and seas rising to near small craft advisory levels that will last into Tuesday then lighter winds and seas for the remainder of the week.
