Temperatures this morning in the Clifton area are in the low 20s but you don’t have to travel too far to the north to encounter frigid temperatures with readings as of 6am of 5 degrees in Newburgh, NY, -3 in Albany and a bone chilling temperature of -24 in Saranac Lake NY.
Today we will have partly sunny skies with temperatures a couple of degrees lower than yesterday. On Friday temperatures will rise a couple of degrees to the upper 30s but there will be more wind. A slow moderating trend on the weekend with the only precipitation will be a possible snow flurry on Saturday night into Sunday morning. Next week most high temperatures will be in the mild 40s with no winter storms on the horizon.
