Frosty morning with near record low temperatures!


There is frost on the car tops here in Clifton this morning with temperatures in the upper 30s. Inland some temperatures in Northwest New Jersey have even dropped into the upper 20s.
Today we will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures should rise about five degrees warmer than yesterday but still be below normal. There will be less wind and clouds so it will feel more comfortable.
Tonight will be also a few degrees milder than this morning so only inland places have a chance for more frost.
A warm front will be moving through on Wednesday giving us mainly cloudy skies with a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
Thursday through Saturday will be pleasantly warm with plenty of sunshine.
Chances of showers for later on Sunday into Monday, temperatures will be a little above normal.

Tonight – Partly cloudy, low in the low 40s.
Wednesday – Cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 60s.
Thursday – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.
Friday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.
Sunday – Mostly cloudy with chance of showers at night, high in the low 70s.
Monday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid-upper 70s.

Marine Forecast: Today – North-northwest wind becoming westerly to 11 knots, seas 2 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisories have been issued for Wednesday and extend into Thursday morning then drop below advisory levels later Thursday through the weekend!
