We have widespread fog around this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s.
A warm front will be moving to our north this morning and the fog will burn off and we should see at least some sunshine, temperatures will rise into the upper 70s along with high humidity. There is a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening and some of these storms could produce heavy downpours.
Quite warm and humid air will be with us most of this week and with the humidity we will continue have chances of showers and thunderstorms.
A cold front will be moving through the area late Thursday night preceded by more thunderstorms that may become severe.
Cooler and less humid on Friday but there may still be some showers around especially in the morning.
The Memorial Day weekend looks quite pleasant but with slightly below normal temperatures.

Friday – Mostly cloudy with still a chance of a shower, cooler and less humid, high in the low 70s.
Saturday -Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Memorial Day – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Marine forecast: Dense fog this morning, small craft advisory through this afternoon, east wind becoming southerly with gusts to 20 knots, seas up to 5 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisories may be needed Wednesday night into Thursday.. Fog may be dense every morning through Thursday.
