This morning we have mostly cloudy skies and it is warm and muggy, temperatures only dropped to around 70 overnight.
Today we will have plenty of clouds with showers and thunderstorms developing some of these storms could have strong gusty winds and heavy rain especially this afternoon and tonight.
A cold front will reach the area Friday morning bringing with it cooler weather but showers will persist much of the day.
This cold front now is expected to slow down and be just off shore with a low pressure developing on the front so now we can expect showers to continue into much of Saturday and it will be chilly with high temperatures on Saturday barely reaching the 60 degree mark.
Hopefully this system moves enough offshore to end the shower threat on Sunday.
Memorial day will be the best day of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and milder temperatures.
A warming trend by the middle of next week and we could have very warm conditions again later next week and next weekend.

Memorial Day – Sunny, high in the low 70s.
Tuesday – Mostly sunny, high in the low-mid 70s.
Wednesday – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.
Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory through Friday afternoon – Today – South winds gusting to 25 knots, seas up to 6 feet.
Outlook: Small craft advisories likely will be needed through Sunday morning with even a chance of gale warnings on Saturday, conditions lower to below advisory levels Sunday and Monday.
