At 6:30am this morning it is cloudy and humid again, we had some light showers around 4am but those showers have moved to our north.
This morning will be mainly dry but thunderstorms are likely to redevelop this afternoon with heavy rain possible once again. Hopefully we don’t get the torrential downpour that caused massive flash flooding as we had yesterday morning.
Chances of thunderstorms will decrease as the week goes on as a high pressure ridge over the Atlantic builds west into our area. Temperatures will increase with more sunshine rising to near 90 on Independence day and this heat along with high humidity will last through the weekend into at least early next week.
