Warm Friday with some showers likely!


With mostly cloudy skies temperatures this morning are in the low 60s in the Clifton area with 50s inland.
A warm front moving into the area will cause considerable cloudiness with some afternoon showers likely, it will be warm with highs in the low 80s.
At this point the weekend looks to be dry but it will remain mostly cloudy, most high temperatures will be in the upper 70s which is nearly 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Some more significant and beneficial rains are likely Monday into Tuesday morning as a cold front approaches from the west and some moisture from the remains of Tropical Storm Karen move into the area from the gulf states.
Clearing later Tuesday and it should remain dry through the rest of the week with temperatures a little cooler but still slightly above normal..

Tonight – Chance of a shower, mostly cloudy, low around 60.
Saturday – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 70s.
Sunday – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 70s.
Monday – Mostly cloudy with rain likely, high in the mid 70s.
Tuesday – Chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

Marine forecast: Today – South-southwest wind to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.
Outlook – Quiet conditions on the ocean this weekend but advisories may be needed Monday into Tuesday as a cold front approaches along with the remains of Tropical Storm Karen.
