Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this Thursday with temperatures in the teens through most of the area which is nearly 10 degrees higher than this time yesterday!
Today we will have sunny skies and temperatures may reach the freezing mark in some areas and with light winds, it will feel much more comfortable than the frigid weather the last couple of days.
Temperatures continue to moderate on Friday but it will be a cloudy day with a chance of very light rain or mixed precipitation during the day, if anything falls it will only amount to a couple hundredths of an inch of precipitation.
On Saturday we really get into the real mild air with temperatures reaching the 50s, however rain will develop and becoming heavy at time in the afternoon and night, 1-2 inches may fall possibly causing some river flooding due to ice jams on some of the area’s waterways.
Clearing on Sunday and just a little cooler.
Mild and dry on Monday.
Another storm will give us a chance of rain or snow Tuesday and Wednesday.
At the present time there is no indication of getting back to the frigid weather we just experienced for at least the next couple of weeks.
