Skies are mostly cloudy this morning but temperatures are ranging form the low 40s in the Clifton area to the 30s further inland, much milder than last Tuesday morning when the temperatures were only in the single digits.

Today will be a very mild day with temperatures possibly reaching the 60 degree mark.

On Wednesday rain will develop around daybreak, temperatures will rise to the 50s. A cold front associated with a strong low pressure moving over us may cause some thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon or evening.  The front will be followed by much colder air with temperatures falling to the 20s by Thursday morning.  It now appears most of the precipitation will end before temperatures fall below freezing so no accumulating snow is expected.

The very cold weather will not last long as Friday we rise into the 40s.

The weekend should be dry, mild on Saturday and cooler on Sunday.

We have cloudy skies at daybreak this morning with rather mild temperatures with most readings in the 30s.  There are some flurries to our north and west but most areas are dry.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day but with mild temperatures reaching the 50 degree mark.

Tuesday will be the best day of the week and if you liked Saturday’s weather you will enjoy Tuesday’s upper 50s temperatures.

A storm will be moving into the area on Wednesday with rain developing in the morning with the precipitation changing to snow before ending on Thursday morning.  Still questions how much snow there will fall before the precipitation ends, the best chances at this time of accumulating snow will be just to our north and west.

Thursday will be a very unseasonably cold and windy day with highs mostly only in the upper 20s.

After a very cold Friday morning temperatures will moderate during the day.

Mainly dry and seasonably mild weather for the weekend.

Looking further ahead it appears that we will have a chilly but dry St. Patrick’s day.

Skies are clearing this morning and temperatures are mainly in the low 30s. Hopefully everyone has turned their clocks ahead or you will be one hour late.

Today temperatures will not rise that much despite mostly sunny conditions topping off in the lower 40s.

Milder air will return for Monday and especially Tuesday, there is a slight chance of showers Monday morning but most areas will remain dry.

A storm system will be moving into our area on Wednesday, latest indications that it will be a mostly rain event for the area with precipitation starting out of a mix of snow Wednesday morning then changing to rain, with the precipitation changing to snow before ending on Thursday morning. Too early to estimate any possible snow accumulations and it all depends on the storm’s track.

Skies have become clear early this Saturday morning and temperatures are not as cold as they have been with 30 degrees at daybreak in the Clifton area to the 20s further inland.

Today will be the mildest day in nearly two weeks as temperatures rise to near 50 degrees which is only about 4 degrees above normal for this time of year, skies will be partly cloudy.

A slight chance of rain or snow showers late tonight as a cold front moves across.  Sunday will be cooler in the low 40s.  Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight or you will be late.

Another slight chance of rain or snow showers late Sunday night into early Monday.  It will remain cloudy on Monday with near seasonable temperatures.

Tuesday will be the mildest day of the upcoming week with highs reaching the mid 50s.

Still watching for a potential storm for Wednesday into Thursday.  The computer models are not in agreement this far out with the European model indicating a significant rain changing to snow event while the American model has most of the precipitation quickly moving offshore and only giving us either light rain or snow..

Clearing Thursday into Friday with below normal temperatures once again.

Looking further ahead it appears that mainly  below normal temperatures will continue through the third week of March,  St Patrick’s  Day looks to be quite chilly.

Skies are cloudy early this morning and temperatures are not as frigid as the last few mornings with readings in the low to mid 20s, however single digits are being reported across some spots in Sussex County were the skies are still mostly clear.

A storm system will be passing to our south today giving rain as close as Southern New Jersey but it will stay dry in our area, temperatures will rise to near 40 degrees which is still below normal for this time of year.

Milder on Saturday despite considerable cloudiness as we may reach the 50 degree mark.

A little cooler on Sunday but remaining dry.

Mild and continued dry early next week.

The next good chance of any precipitation is with a storm system that will be moving through the southern states and then up the coast.  Still not sure of the track but most of the model guidance show colder air moving down from the north so if that is the case then we will have to deal with  some snow.  Once again the removal of the winter shower curtain will be put to another test.
