Very nice weather for Easter Sunday!


Skies are partly cloudy in the Clifton area and temperatures are a few degrees warmer than this time yesterday mainly in the low 40s.

We will have plenty of sunshine today but a flow off the ocean will keep high temperatures a few degrees lower than yesterday especially closer to the coast.

Another sunny day on Monday with slightly higher temperatures.

A cold front approaching the area on Tuesday, it will be mild but showers are likely Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Sunshine returns on Wednesday with cooler temperatures

Seasonably mild and dry on Thursday.

Another chance of showers Friday afternoon into Saturday with mild temperatures expected.

Tonight – Clear, low in the upper 30s.

Monday – Sunny, high in the mid 60s

Tuesday – Partly sunny with showers likely after 3pm, high near 70.

Wednesday – Partly sunny, high near 60.

Friday – Partly sunny with a chance of showers in the afternoon, high in the upper 60s.

Saturday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

Outlook – Advisories possible for high seas on Monday with conditions lowering to below advisory levels Monday night and extend into Tuesday, advisories again possible Wednesday and Thursday.

Pleasant Easter Weekend Weather!


Skies have cleared out early this morning, temperatures are chilly with most readings ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to around 30 further inland.

Today will be sunny and much milder as high pressure builds into our area, winds will be coming in from the west and with the sunshine high temperatures will be around 15 degrees higher than yesterday.

Sunny weather for Easter Sunday but winds will again be off the cool Atlantic waters so highs will be a few degrees lower than today.

Dry and mild for Monday.

The next chance of rain will be Tuesday afternoon and evening, temperatures will continue to be mild.

Dry weather Wednesday through Friday, temperatures will start off below normal on Wednesday then rise to slightly above normal by Friday. Normal high temperature for this upcoming week are in the low to mid 60s.

Tonight – Clear, low in the upper 30s.

Easter Sunday – Sunny, high near 60.

Monday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

A chilly Good Friday; Dry and milder Easter weekend!


Skies are mostly cloudy in the Clifton area this morning with chilly temperatures once again ranging from the low 30s here to the 20s further inland, winds are light. Some frost is occurring in parts of the area.

Today will be dry but with considerable cloudiness and an onshore wind temperatures will continue to be below normal only reaching the low 50s.

Not as chilly tonight.

Saturday we will have plenty of sunshine with milder temperatures.

Continued pleasant weather for Easter Sunday but it may be a couple of degrees cooler than on Saturday.

Dry and seasonably mild weather as we start the work week.

The next chance of some showers will be Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Chilly and dry the next two days; Mild and dry for Easter weekend!


Under clear skies temperatures have fallen to near record low readings for the day with 32 being reported in Clifton with the 20s further inland, winds are lighter than yesterday.

We will experience another cool day today as strong high pressure over New England will dominate our weather, winds will be off the cool ocean but there will still be plenty of sunshine with continued lighter winds than yesterday.  Tonight will be cool again with patchy frost.

It now appears that we will stay dry Friday through Easter weekend with a slow moderation of temperatures.

Early next week we will have near or slightly above normal temperatures with the next chance of rain not until Tuesday.

Friday – Partly sunny and cool, high in the low 50s.

Record cold April 16th!


Temperatures this morning in the Clifton area have fallen into the 20s with wind chills in the teens. The 28 degree temperature at 6am in Clifton is a record low for April 16th.

Hard to believe that after having an 80 degree reading on Monday that we would have accumulating snow Tuesday night.  I received 1/2 inch of the white stuff with a couple of inches reported across inland sections.

Unseasonably cold weather will continue today with most highs only in the upper 40s, gusty winds this morning will diminish this afternoon.

Near record low temperatures are likely early Thursday morning then it will become just a little milder, winds will be light.

Next chance of showers will be Friday night into Saturday but most rain amounts will be light, temperatures will slowly moderate.

Easter Sunday still looks very pleasant with highs reaching the lower 60s.

Seasonable temperatures early next week with some showers possible Monday night into Tuesday.
