Skies are cloudy in the area with most temperatures are in the middle 50s, humidity is still on the high side.
Yesterday evening an expected deluge of thunderstorms hit our area with over two inches of rain falling in about two hours causing considerable road flooding.
Today the low pressure that caused the rain moved into the ocean we will still have mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, the showers will be more scattered and much less intense than the rain we had yesterday.
Finally we dry out on Sunday with milder temperatures and on Memorial Day it will feel like summer with most highs reaching the middle 80s.
Warm on Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the day as a cold front approaches the area.
Dry and not as warm on Wednesday.
Continues dry on Thursday and Friday with seasonably mild temperatures.
