At daybreak this morning skies are mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 60s, winds are light and the humidity is still high.
We had an area of thunderstorms move though our area around 1am, the storms were quick moving and we received around 1/4 inch of rainfall. These storms were heavier along the Jersey Shore.
A low pressure area will move offshore later today giving our area another chance of thunderstorms mainly this afternoon, it will become breezy and less humid by later this afternoon.
High pressure will be in control of our weather most of the rest of this week with dry conditions, nights will be cool and daytime temperatures a little below normal.
Unsettled weather for this coming weekend with a chance of showers on both Saturday and Sunday.

MARINE FORECAST: Small craft advisory in effect till 6am Tuesday for winds west gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.
OUTLOOK – Sub-advisory level conditions expected later Tuesday through the end of the week.
