A mainly cloudy and chilly Saturday! Milder on Sunday!


Another chilly morning around the area this early morning with temperatures ranging from around 20 in the Clifton area to some readings around 10 degrees inland where there is more snowpack, winds are calm and skies mostly cloudy.

Considerable cloudiness could be expected during the day today and temperatures will not rise out of the 30s.  Tonight temperatures will not drop and may even rise toward morning as a southerly wind develops off of high pressure offshore.

Sunday we will have morning cloudy conditions and there is a slight chance of some drizzle that may be falling as freezing drizzle well inland, then during the day we can expect skies to clear and temperatures rising to near 50 degrees.

A cold front will come through on Monday possibly setting off some morning showers, mild conditions should continue but get colder at night.

Cold air will be over us on Tuesday with temperatures not rising out of the 30s once again despite plenty of sunshine.

Milder air returns on Wednesday but with some light rain possible that could start off as a little snow inland in the morning.

Dry with seasonable temperatures on Thursday.

Friday there is another chance of light rain or snow.

No significant precipitation or storms are expected the next seven days.

TODAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 30s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with temperatures steady in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – Cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny and milder, high near 50.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain showers in the morning, high in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny and colder, high in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy with a chance of light rain possible beginning as light snow inland, high in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South winds to 11 knots seas 1-2 feet.

Small craft advisory will be in effect from 6pm this evening till 6pm on Sunday.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories may be needed Monday and Tuesday with no advisories expect Tuesday night into Wednesday.
