Much colder today! Dry weather expected through the weekend!


Colder air is moving into the area on strong northerly winds, skies have become partly cloudy and temperatures have fallen to the upper 20s in the Clifton area to mainly the low 20s further inland, winds are gusting to 25 mph.

Today temperatures will not rise from the present readings and will stay mainly in the 20s despite plenty of sunshine, it will continue to be windy.

It will be quite chilly tonight with lows well down into the teens.

Mostly cloudy and not quite as cold on Wednesday with a small chance of a couple of flurries.

Dry weather will continue Thursday through the weekend, temperatures will be near normal Thursday through Saturday and above normal on Monday before dropping to near normal on MLK Day.

TODAY – Sunny, windy and cold, temperatures falling through the 20s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low teens.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a flurry, high in the low 30s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

FRIDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MLK DAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect through noon on Wednesday for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday night through Saturday.
