Milder today after a quite cold start!


Record low temperatures in many parts of the area, here in Clifton the temperature fell to 32 degrees which is a record for the date, many readings are in the 20s further inland,  skies are clear and winds are nearly calm.

Temperatures will rapidly rise today under plenty of sunshine with readings reaching the low 60s this afternoon, winds will be light and it will feel much more comfortable than the last couple of days.

The pleasant weather will continue on Sunday with highs again in the low 60s.

A weak disturbance will cause some showers on Monday, temperatures will continue to be near normal for this time of year.

Milder and dry Tuesday and Wednesday.

There is a chance of some showers on Thursday as a low pressure moves well offshore followed by clearing on Friday.

Looking ahead to the longer range it appears now that we will have warmer temperatures next weekend that will extend into the following week.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low near 40.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, hing in the mid 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-northwest wind to 10 knots, seas around 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Wednesday.
