Skies are cloudy early this Tuesday morning and rain is slowly approaching from the south and should move into our area shortly, temperatures are milder than the last couple of mornings with readings ranging from the low 50s here in Clifton to the mid 40s in a few inland spots, winds are northeast around 10 mph.

Rain will be light this morning becoming steadier and a little heavier this afternoon and night,  expect about 1/4 to a 1/2 inch of rainfall, it will be a bit breezy especially along coastal areas.

Clouds will linger on Veterans Day and there is a chance of showers especially in the morning.

Another low pressure system will move in from the west on Thursday with more showers likely.

Friday will be a pleasant fall day with plenty of sunshine and slightly above normal temperatures.

Cooler and breezy but dry over the weekend.

Dry weather will continue into early next week with a slow moderation in temperatures..

We have clear skies early on this Monday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the upper 30s in Clifton to the mid 20s in some of the inland valleys, winds are light.  Although it seems chilly after the warm weather experienced last week these readings are near normal.

Another dry Monday today and we have not had any measurable precipitation on a Monday since the middle of June,  we will have plenty of sunshine with near normal temperatures, highs will be around 60 degrees.

Tonight we will have increasing cloudiness as high pressure moves off the coast and a low pressure area off the southeast coast moves north, temperatures tonight will not be as cool as the last couple of nights.

Light rain should begin on Tuesday morning and continue into the evening, right now amounts will be around a quarter of an inch.

Dry with seasonable temperatures on Wednesday.

Another low pressure system will be moving into the area from the west on Thursday likely giving us some showers.

Fair weather returns for Friday and extend into the weekend, temperatures will be slightly above normal on Friday and slightly below normal over the weekend.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are nearly 20 degrees cooler than this time yesterday but still slightly above normal ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to the low 30s further inland, winds are light.

We will enjoy a nice fall day with plenty of sunshine and near normal temperatures, winds will be light.

Another nice day on Monday after a chilly start,  high temperatures will slightly milder  we should see an increase of clouds at night.

It now appears that we will likely have some widespread rain on Tuesday into early Wednesday morning as a storm system moves up from the southeast states.

Dry weather during the day on Wednesday followed by more rain on Thursday as another storm system moves into the area.  I am glad that my son Jared helped me fix my rain gauge on the weather station yesterday to record these upcoming rain events.

Dry on Friday with cooler weather next weekend.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are still quite mild for this time of year ranging from the upper 50s here in Clifton to around 50 further inland, winds are light.

A cold front came through the area shortly after midnight but the cold air is only slowly filtering in from the west, today we will have considerable cloudiness and temperatures will rise to the 60s which is still above normal for this time of year.  Yesterday’s high of 74 in Clifton broke the record for the date of 72 set in 1978.  On November 7th 2012 we recorded 4.2 inches of snow and highs were only in the 30s, quite uncomfortable with those without power caused by Hurricane Sandy a week earlier.

Sunday we will see a return back to near normal temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 50s along with plenty of sunshine.

Slightly above normal temperatures for most of next week, there will be a disturbance to our south that will cause mostly cloudy skies on Tuesday also there will be a chance of showers later in the week as a cold front approaches the area, most highs during this period will be in the 60s.

Skies are cloudy early this Friday morning and temperatures are extremely warm for this time of year ranging from the low 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s in the cooler suburbs.  It is also quite muggy with dew points in the low 60s in much of the area.

Record high temperatures are quite likely today as southwest flow ahead of a cold front will boast temperatures well up into the 70s, skies will be mostly cloudy to cloudy most of the day but if we get more sunshine than anticipated a 80 degree temperature is not out of the question, these temperatures are normal for early June. It also will be rather humid with dew points in the 60s.

The cold front will swing through our area around midnight only associated with a slight chance of a shower, temperatures will continue to be quite mild overnight.

Clearing and cooler on Saturday but temperatures will still be above normal.

Cooling back to near normal November temperatures on Sunday and by early Monday morning lows will drop into the 30s.

This upcoming week looks mainly dry with the only chance of showers would be on Tuesday and again on Thursday, temperatures will be slightly above normal.
