Rain ending this morning then clearing and mild! Cooler and dry on Sunday! Quite cold and windy early next week!


Skies are cloudy and there is some light rain falling in parts of the area, temperatures are mild ranging from the low 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s in the colder outlying areas, winds are light.

The storm that gave us rain overnight will move well off the coast this morning and the rain will end followed by clearing, it will be a mild day with highs approaching the 50 degree mark.

Sunday will have partly sunny skies and it will be seasonably cool, however a cold front will be passing through in the evening possible giving us some snow showers.

Much colder and windy Monday and Tuesday with still a chance of snow showers on Monday.

Temperatures moderate Wednesday through Friday but should average at or slightly below normal for this time of year, dry conditions should continue.

Looking further ahead to the last week of January it now appears that we will have above normal temperatures with no signs of any significant snow.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the low 30s here in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have considerable cloudiness but it will be milder than the last few days as high temperatures climb to near the 50 degree mark.

Rain will develop around 8 p.m. tonight and end before 11 a.m on Saturday.  Clearing Saturday afternoon and it will remain mild.

A cold front will cross the area on Sunday bringing in colder air into the region.

Cold and windy Monday and Tuesday and there is a chance of some snow showers Monday morning, highs both days will struggle to reach 30 degrees.

A very slow moderation in temperatures the rest of next week and we should remain dry.

Not as cold today after some morning flurries! Mild on Friday! Rain late Friday night into Saturday morning!


We have a some light flurries falling early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 20s here in Clifton to the mid teens further inland, winds are light.

A weak disturbance is now causing some light snow showers over the area that may the Clifton area a dusting of snow this morning and up to an inch across inland areas causing some slippery spots on some roadways.  We should see some sunshine by this afternoon and high temperatures will be around 5 degrees higher than on Wednesday.

During the day Friday we should have partly sunny skies but with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, it will be mild with highs well up into the 40s.

A low pressure system will give us rain from Friday night into Saturday morning followed by clearing in the afternoon, temperatures will still be above normal.

A cold front will cross the area late on Sunday which may be accompanied by some flurries, temperatures will be near normal.

Mainly cold and dry most of next week with Monday and Tuesday being quite cold and windy.

Skies are mostly clear early this Wednesday morning, temperatures are rather uniform across the area ranging from around 20 degrees in Clifton to some mid teens further inland, winds are gusting to above 30 mph at times bringing wind chills down to the single digits.

Today will be a mostly sunny day but will be windy and quite cold with highs struggling to reach the 30 degree mark and with the winds it will feel much colder, the winds will diminish somewhat by this afternoon.

Not as cold or windy on Thursday with highs in the 30s.  Friday will be dry and milder with highs reaching well up into the 40s.

A coastal low pressure storm will give us mainly just rain and wind on Saturday that may begin as some frozen precipitation well inland.

Dry with seasonable temperatures on Sunday.

Below normal temperatures early next week but we should stay dry.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures have dropped to the upper teens here in Clifton ranging down to 10 degrees in our colder suburbs, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will see an increase of clouds as a weak disturbance moves in from the mid-west, light precipitation in the form of rain and snow showers will likely develop this afternoon changing to snow showers later in the day and continuing in the evening,  a coating of snow is possible especially across inland areas where up to an inch will fall, high temperatures should reach around 40 degrees.  Much colder and windy tonight.

Mainly dry, windy and cold on Wednesday, we should see mostly sunny skies but there may be some lingering flurries in the morning.

Dry weather will continue Thursday into the day on Friday with moderating temperatures.

A stronger low pressure system is expected to give us more significant precipitation Friday night into Saturday, the precipitation may start off as a mixture of rain, snow and freezing rain changing to all rain during the day on Saturday and then possibly changing back to snow before ending on Saturday evening.

Dry weather on Sunday and Monday with colder temperatures.
