Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and again it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from around 70 here in Clifton to near 60 in the cooler inland valleys, winds are nearly calm.
Very warm and humid weather will continue today and with plenty of sunshine we should again reach near the 90 degree mark, there is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm inland but most areas will remain dry.
Sunday will be quite warm again but we should see some increasing cloudiness late in the day as high pressure moves offshore and a cold front approaches from the west, rain from these system along with moisture streaming up toward our area from what may become tropical storm Bonnie off the South Carolina coast will give us rain Sunday night into Memorial Day, some of this rain may be heavy at times.
Dry weather is then expected Tuesday through Friday, temperatures will be above normal Tuesday and Wednesday cooling off to near normal Thursday and Friday.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny in the morning, increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, high in the upper 80s, rain with some thunderstorms developing at night.
MEMORIAL DAY – Cloudy with showers and possibly a thunderstorm, rain may be heavy at times, high near 80.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.
WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.
THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.
FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – South to southwest winds to 13 knots, seas 2-3 feet. Water temperatures are in the upper 50s.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
