Skies are partly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are ranging from around 60 in the Clifton area to near 50 further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low.
Post tropical storm Hermine is now a couple of hundred of miles east of our coast but is expected to turn back to the coast later today, however it seems that the storm will not be close enough to cause problems especially in our area and further inland, however the coast may still have some strong winds and possibly moderate to severe coastal flooding. Yesterday it appeared our area would have winds over 50 mph in our area but now we are only anticipating peak gust in the upper 20s. Today will be dry and mainly partly sunny with high temperatures similar to what was recorded yesterday in the upper 70s.
We should see more clouds on Labor Day with only a low chance of some light rain during the day, high temperatures will again be in the 70s.
As the storm moves away look for warmer temperatures on Tuesday with warm to hot temperatures Wednesday through Saturday, the only rain anticipated would be on Saturday as a weak cold front approaches the area.
