Cool and dry today with less wind! Some light snow or rain late tonight into early Monday! Unsettled weather Tuesday through Thursday!


Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from near 40 in the Clifton area to the low 30s further inland, winds are out of the north around 10 mph.

We should have mostly sunny skies early followed by some increasing cloudiness late in the day, temperatures will be seasonably cool with less wind than what occurred on Saturday.

A weak low pressure area will move to our south tomorrow morning which will likely produce some light snow changing to rain before ending by noon on Monday, accumulations should be around an inch inland with less along coastal areas, be  prepared for possible slippery conditions for the morning commute.

Dry and cool conditions tomorrow night into Tuesday morning but another low pressure area will be moving well to our south that will likely give us some light rain or drizzle from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday, temperatures will be warm enough in the area so the precipitation will fall as rain.

A strong cold front may touch of some showers on Thursday followed by the coldest air of the season from Thursday night into the weekend along with strong winds.

The latest computer models are indicating a possible significant snowstorm for our area next Sunday night into Monday!

TODAY – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness with light snow likely after midnight, low in the low 30s.

MONDAY – Light snow changing to light rain before ending around noon then becoming mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – Increasing cloudiness with light rain developing in the afternoon, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with light rain or drizzle likely, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, windy and colder with a chance of sprinkles or flurries, high in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North-northwest wind to 10 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected on Monday;  possible small craft advisories during the day on Tuesday with advisories likely Wednesday through Friday.
