Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some drizzle or light rain in parts of the area. Temperatures are mild, ranging from around 60 in the Clifton area, to the mid 50s further inland; winds are light southeasterly. Yesterday we picked up 1.48 inches of rain in Clifton with considerable more just to our south and east, as both Newark and Central Park recorded around 3 inches of rainfall.
A deep low pressure now over Pennsylvania will slowly move to the north into Eastern Canada by tonight; we should still have considerable cloudiness with some showers likely especially this afternoon; temperatures will only rise a few degrees from our early morning lows.
Sunday will be cooler with mostly cloudy skies and a low chance of a shower.
Next week will be cooler than average with a chance of showers on Monday and again on Wednesday.
