Skies are mostly clear on this first day of August and temperatures are mild with readings near 70 in the Clifton area to the upper 50s in some inland area, humidity is moderate with dew points in the 60s.
Today we should have mostly sunny conditions with temperatures similar to yesterday reaching the 90 degree mark, humidity will remain moderate. There is a slight chance of an afternoon shower mainly over northwest New Jersey and the Poconos, however most areas will remain dry.
Quite warm and slightly more humid Wednesday and Thursday with a better chance of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms both days.
A weak cold front on Friday will give us more showers and thunderstorms Friday into early Saturday morning.
The weekend at this point looks to be very nice with seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.
