Our area has mostly fair skies early on this first day of December and the first day of meteorological winter, temperatures range from around 40 in the Clifton area down to near 30 further inland, some inland valleys have some fog.
A cold front is crossing the area now and high pressure will be building into the area, we should see plenty of sunshine and temperatures will still on the mild side with highs in the low 50s.
Dry weather to persist through the weekend into Monday, temperatures will continue to average slightly above normal.
A strong cold front will approach the area on Tuesday with showers likely into Wednesday, temperatures will be quite mild.
After the cold front passes on Wednesday it will turn colder for the end of the week.

TUESDAY – DEC 5 – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 50s, showers likely at night.
WEDNESDAY – DEC 6 – Cloudy with showers likely, high in the low 50s.
THURSDAY – DEC 7 – Partly sunny and colder, high in the mid 40s.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North-northwest winds to 13 knots, seas 1 foot.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday through Monday, possible small craft conditions on Tuesday.
