Good morning everyone!
Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and there are some showers and thunderstorms in parts of the area, temperatures range from the mid to upper 50s, winds are mainly calm.
The frontal system that gave us the rain yesterday and showers overnight will move offshore this morning and high pressure will be building in from the northwest, skies will become partly sunny later this morning and mostly sunny this afternoon, temperatures will warm into the 80s but the humidity will be lower.
The high pressure ridge will control our weather tomorrow through Saturday with plenty of sunshine each day along with warm temperatures. Saturday the mercury may rise to close to 90 with increasing humidity.
Unsettled weather and cooler Sunday and on Memorial Day as a backdoor cold front will be moving to our south and some tropical moisture moves toward the area from the south.

MEMORIAL DAY – MAY 28 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 70.
TUESDAY – MAY 29 – Partly sunny, high in the mid to upper 70s.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northwest wind to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected on Thursday; possible small craft conditions Friday and Saturday; no advisories expected for Sunday.
