Becoming mostly sunny and seasonably cool today! Dry and pleasant on Tuesday! Warmer with thunderstorms possible on Wednesday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy across Northern New Jersey this morning and temperatures range from mid to upper 50s, winds are mainly calm.   Across the southern half of the state there are flooding rains with 3-6 inches of rain reported in some of those areas.

High pressure will build into the area today and skies will become mostly sunny after early morning cloudy skies, temperatures will be seasonably cool with highs in the low 70s.

The high pressure will be moving off the coast providing continued  dry weather,  high temperatures will be a little higher than today after a cool start.

Warm and muggy on Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will cross the area in the evening preceded by some shower and thunderstorm activity, some storms may be strong.

Finally some constantly warm and dry weather is expected Thursday through the weekend.   The last seven weekends we had some rain but it appears that this upcoming weekend will be dry and warm.
