Good morning everyone!
Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and there are some scattered showers in parts of the area, temperatures range from the low 70s in the Clifton area down to the upper 60s further inland, the winds are mainly calm and the humidity remains high.
The front that caused the heavy rain across the area has dissipated and we should see some sunshine today although there is still a low chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm, temperatures with the sunshine will be warmer than today and it will be humid again with dew points around 70.
Friday should be mainly dry but another front will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, some of the storms may be strong to severe.
The weekend looks to be mainly dry with lower humidity and near normal temperatures.
Humidity will rise along with showers likely most of next week as the strong high pressure off the coast along with a trough to our west will give us a southerly flow of moist air.
