Hot and humid today with plenty of sunshine! Very warm and humid Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of showers!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are once again quite warm with readings ranging from the upper 70s in the Clifton area down to some mid 60s further inland, the humidity is high with dew points around 70.

High pressure today will give us plenty of sunshine  and it will be hot with highs in the mid 90s and with dew points around 70 will boost the heat index to near 100 degrees.  A heat advisory is in effect.

The high pressure will move off the coast and with a slow moving front to our west will give us a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.  It will still be hot and humid both days.

The front will push to the east and Thursday and Friday look to be dry days with seasonably warm temperatures and slightly lower humidity.

Another slow moving front may give us a chance of showers over the weekend with warm temperatures and the humidity will again be rather uncomfortable.
