Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the low 70s in Clifton to the mid 60s in some areas further inland, the humidity is high with dew points near 70.

Yesterday here in Clifton I recorded 3.38 inches of rain with most of it occurring in the late afternoon when 2.50 inches fell that caused considerable road flooding in our area.

Although there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms today the activity should not be as widespread as yesterday but some scattered storms may give some areas heavy rain as the storms will be slow moving.   There will be some sunshine but most of the day will be mostly cloudy, it will be warmer than yesterday and the humidity will be high with dew points around 70.

More rain is likely Monday and Tuesday as a front will be in our area, once again rain may be heavy in some areas.  Temperatures will be near normal but it will continue to be humid.

Wednesday should be dry and quite warm.

Most of Thursday should also be dry but there will be a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.

Showers are still possible Friday  as the persistent pattern continues with a ridge offshore and low pressure to our west.
