Good morning everyone!
Cloudy skies prevail early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are mild with readings mainly in the mid to upper 60s, these temperatures are nearly 20 degrees above normal. There may be some lingering drizzle and some patchy fog in parts of the area as the humidity is high, winds are light southerly.
Today will be a mostly cloudy to cloudy day but temperatures should rise to at least the upper 70s and with a little late day sunshine some temperatures in the low 80s are possible. It will be humid with dew points in the upper 60s.
A weak backdoor cold front will move into the area on Monday and we should have an onshore flow of cooler air along with continued mostly cloudy skies.
Warmer again Tuesday and Wednesday and we should remain dry except for a chance of showers Wednesday night.
A cold front approaching from the west along with the possible remnants of soon to be Tropical Storm Michael may cause rain on Thursday which could be heavy at times. Michael is expected to become a hurricane as it moves toward the Florida panhandle.
Cooler Friday and especially Saturday as high pressure builds in from the Great Lakes.

COLUMBUS DAY – OCT 8 – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 70s.
TUESDAY – OCT 9 – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 70s.
WEDNESDAY – OCT 10 – Partly sunny, high near 80, chance of showers at night.
THURSDAY – OCT 11 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the upper 70s.
FRIDAY – OCT 12 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.
SATURDAY – OCT 13 – Partly sunny and cool, high only around 60.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southwest wind to 10 knots, seas 2-3 feet.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through the day on Wednesday with small craft conditions likely Wednesday night through Thursday.
