Mostly sunny, breezy and much less humid today! Mainly dry weather for the holiday weekend with seasonable temperatures on Saturday, becoming warmer Sunday and on Memorial Day!


Good morning!

Skies have become mostly clear early on this Friday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from the mid 60s in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light southwesterly.

Yesterday .57″ of rain fell in Clifton!

A cold front will be crossing the area this morning followed by a brisk northwesterly flow of much less humid air. Winds will gust above 30 mph at times. Temperatures will be slightly above normal.

Saturday we will see an increase in clouds as a warm front approaches the area. This front will give us a chance of showers late Saturday night.

Sunday will be quite warm along with plenty of sunshine, temperatures will be well up into the 80s with a chance the mercury hitting 90 degrees in some spots.

Memorial day looks to be a warm and dry.

Warm weather should continue most of next week, there will be a chance of showers Tuesday through Thursday but most of the time it will be dry.

SUNDAY – MAY 26 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming sunny and quite warm, high in the upper 80s.

MEMORIAL DAY – MAY 27 – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – MAY 28 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 29 – Mostly sunny and quite warm, high in the upper 80s, chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

THURSDAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

MARINE FORECAST:

TODAY – Northwest winds to 15 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday through Tuesday.
