Skies across the area are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are a few degrees milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from near 60 in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A weak frontal system will cause mostly cloudy conditions in our area today, high temperatures will be around five degrees higher than yesterday and the humidity will rise with dew points in the 60s. There is a chance of showers this evening as a weak cold front crosses the area.

High pressure will build into the area on Sunday producing more sunshine and warmer temperatures with comfortable humidity.

Dry weather is expected much of next week, temperatures will be above normal on Monday and near seasonable levels Tuesday through Friday.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers mainly after 8 p.m., low in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – SEP 15 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

MONDAY – SEP 16 – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – SEP 17 – Sunny, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 18 – Sunny, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – SEP 19 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

FRIDAY – SEP 20 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect till 6 p.m. this evening for southerly winds gusting to 20 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected tonight through Wednesday.

TROPICS: Tropical storm Humberto has formed about 70 miles east of the Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas, Humberto is expected to move northwest but stay off the Florida and the southeast coast then move east well away from land areas as it is expected to become a hurricane.
