Dry weather to persist today through the weekend! Seasonably mild today, cooler Wednesday and Thursday then warmer again Friday through early next week!

Skies across the area are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from around 60 in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are mostly calm.

High pressure over the Great Lakes will build into our area providing mostly fair skies today with temperatures near seasonable.

The high pressure will then move to our north and we should have a more onshore flow Wednesday into Thursday with a little more cloudiness, temperatures will be below normal.

The high pressure then will drift to our south and warmer air will move into our area Friday and be with us through the weekend into early next week. Skies will continue to be mostly fair.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 18 – Partly sunny, high near 70.

THURSDAY – SEP 19 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – SEP 21 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – SEP 22 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – SEP 23 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northeast wind to 14 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories likely Wednesday through Saturday night for high seas from swells from Hurricane Humberto.

TROPICS: Hurricane Humberto is moving east-northeast around 570 miles west of Bermuda with top winds of 90 MPH, Humberto is expected to continue to move close to Bermuda and is expected to intensify to a category 3 hurricane.
