Steady rain is falling over the area early this morning and temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are light northeasterly.

A low pressure will be moving off the coast and the steady rain should end by around 8 a.m., we should stay cloudy through the rest of the day and evening with a chance of a light shower or two, temperatures will be near seasonable levels. Spring begins at 11:49 p.m. tonight.
A warm front will move north of our area Friday morning and a brisk southwest flow of unseasonably warm air is expected with temperatures well up into the 70s. There will be a chance of some showers and even a thunderstorm, winds will gust up to 35 mph. A cold front will cross the area by evening.
Much cooler weather for the weekend but it should be mostly sunny both days.
A low pressure will give us a chance of rain on Monday and depending on the track of the low some of the precipitation may begin as snow in the morning.
After a dry day on Tuesday there will be another low pressure moving into the area giving us a chance of rain on Wednesday, temperatures will be a little milder.

TONIGHT – Slight chance of a shower in the evening then showers likely after midnight, low in the upper 40s.
FRIDAY – MAR 20 – Cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning and showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, windy and warm, high in the mid 70s.
SATURDAY – MAR 21 – Sunny and much cooler, high near 50.
SUNDAY – MAR 22 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.
MONDAY – MAR 23 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow in the morning then a chance of rain in the afternoon, high in the low 40s.
TUESDAY – MAR 24 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.
WEDNESDAY – MAR 25 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 50s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 4 a.m Friday morning valid until 6 a.m. Saturday morning; no advisories expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday night; advisories likely for high seas on Monday.
