Skies are clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures are chilly ranging from near 30 in Clifton down to the upper teens further inland, winds are from the northeast.

A strong high pressure over Quebec will give us a dry day today and with a southeast flow off the ocean will give us below normal temperatures which has not happened much this month, highs will be in the 40s. The day will start off clear but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon.

A weak frontal system will give us a chance of light rain on Tuesday that may be mixed with snow across northwest New Jersey in the morning. Temperatures will rebound with highs in the 50s.

High pressure will give our area a nice day on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.

Showers are likely Thursday and Friday as a warm front moves through on Thursday followed by a cold front late Friday. Temperatures will be seasonably mild on Thursday then become quite warm on Friday.

At this point the upcoming weekend looks dry with cooler temperatures.

A strong high to our north will give our area mostly sunny skies today after early morning clouds, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

As the high pressure moves off the New England coast an onshore flow of cool air will be with us on Monday with temperatures actually a little below normal which has not happened much this month.

A weak front will give us a chance of shower on Tuesday, it will not be as cool as Monday.

Short lived dry weather on Wednesday followed by a chance of showers Thursday thorough early next weekend. Some of the showers may be mixed with snow early Thursday morning. Friday may be quite mild with highs near 70 otherwise near normal temperatures are expected.

Today will be a sunny day with temperatures a little above normal , winds will diminish throughout the day. Some increase in clouds tonight as a weak disturbance moves to our south, there is a slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry but most of the area will remain dry.

Clearing on Sunday with dry weather continuing as high pressure builds into the area. Temperatures will near normal on Sunday and slightly below normal on Monday.

A frontal system will give the area a chance of rain on Tuesday with milder temperatures.

Dry and cooler in Wednesday but another frontal system will give us a chance of rain Thursday and Friday.

A frontal system with a warm front moving through our area will cause showers this morning, some showers may be heavy at times with a rumble of thunder possible, rainfall amounts of a half to three quarters of an inch possible. Clearing and becoming very mild this afternoon before a cold front crosses the area. Winds will become gusty out of the west up to 30 mph. Mostly clear tonight and becoming cooler with diminishing winds.

Strong high pressure will give our area mainly dry and cooler weather Saturday and Sunday although there is a slight chance of sprinkles Saturday night.

Monday will be the coolest day with highs below normal which has not happened much this month.

High pressure off the New England coast today will give our area an easterly flow of cool air along with mostly cloudy to cloudy skies.

A warm front will cause rain mainly after midnight tonight into Friday morning, rain may be heavy at times with possibly a thunderstorm. It will become quite mild before a cold front passes through the area in the afternoon. Winds will become gusty behind the front. Colder air will move in at night. Rainfall amounts will average between a half to one inch Friday morning.

Strong high pressure building from Canada will give us sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will be a little above normal on Saturday and near normal on Sunday.

Monday will be mostly sunny with cooler than normal temperatures.

A weak area of low pressure so I give us a chance of light rain on Tuesday.

Wednesday should be dry with slightly above normal temperatures as high pressure builds into the area.
