Cloudy and humid today with some scattered showers! Warm and humid on Friday with a better chance of showers and thunderstorms! Lingering showers possible on Saturday! Dry, cooler and much less humid Sunday through early next week!

Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there is some patchy fog along with some widely scattered light showers in parts of our area. Temperatures are mainly in the low 60s and the humidity continues to be high.

High pressure off the Atlantic coast along with the remains of Tropical Storm Bertha well to the west of our area will combine to give us a cloudy day with a low chance of some scattered light showers today and tonight, temperatures will be near seasonable levels and the humidity will remain high with dew points in the 60s.

Friday will be warmer with a better chance of showers and thunderstorms mostly likely in the afternoon and evening as a slow moving cold front approaches our area.

The front will pass through our area on Saturday with a chance of a lingering shower followed by clearing and becoming much less humid by evening.

Pleasantly cool with low humidity and plenty of sunshine Sunday through Tuesday.

SATURDAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, high in low 80s, becoming much less humid at night.

SUNDAY – MAY 31 – Sunny, cooler and less humid, high in the low 70s.

MONDAY – JUNE 1 – Sunny, high near 70.

TUESDAY – JUNE 2 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 3 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.
