Skies are mostly cloudy and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton down to the upper 50s further inland. Winds are mainly calm or light northwesterly. The area of thunderstorms that gave our area .46″ of rain overnight has moved offshore.

The front that caused the rain yesterday evening and overnight has moved offshore and high pressure will build into the area. Mostly sunny skies with near seasonable temperatures can be expected today, there is a slight chance of a shower, mainly inland but our area should stay dry.
Very nice late summer weather Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine both days, comfortable humidity and temperatures slightly below normal.
Somewhat warmer weather Friday through the weekend with an increase in humidity, the only chance of showers should be on Sunday.
