High pressure will give us a mostly sunny day today with slightly higher temperatures and humidity than yesterday with highs in the upper 80s and dew points rising into the 60s.

Quite warm and humid weather for the weekend, most of the area will remain dry but there is a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both days.

Mainly dry weather much of next week with only a low chance of showers on Tuesday as a weak cold front approaches our area. Temperatures next week will average above normal with moderate humidity.

A weak front is offshore as high pressure builds into the area from the northwest. Today will become a mostly sunny day after some early morning cloudiness. There is only a slight chance of a shower today but most places with remain dry. Temperatures will be slightly below normal and the humidity will be low with dew points in the 50s.

Another nice late summer day on Thursday as high pressure will be in our area, temperatures again will be slightly below normal with comfortable humidities.

The Bermuda high will then dominate our weather Friday through early next week with higher temperatures and humidity. Most of the area will stay dry except for a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms Sunday and again on Monday.

The front that caused the rain yesterday evening and overnight has moved offshore and high pressure will build into the area. Mostly sunny skies with near seasonable temperatures can be expected today, there is a slight chance of a shower, mainly inland but our area should stay dry.

Very nice late summer weather Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine both days, comfortable humidity and temperatures slightly below normal.

Somewhat warmer weather Friday through the weekend with an increase in humidity, the only chance of showers should be on Sunday.

After yesterday’s cool day today will be warmer with highs in the low 80s which is near seasonable levels. Skies will be mostly sunny. A cold front will likely give us some showers and thunderstorms around 7-8 p.m. this evening.

High pressure will dominate our weather much of the rest of this week with dry conditions. Temperatures will be at or slightly below normal Tuesday through Thursday and rise to slightly above normal readings Friday through the weekend. The only chance of showers will be around Sunday with a cold front.

No excessive heat is expected here but in some of the western states are having record heat with some places having their hottest August temperatures.
