There is considerable fog in our area early on this Wednesday morning and there is some drizzle falling. Temperatures are quite mild with readings ranging from the low 60s in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland. The humidity is high.

We start off this morning with fog and some drizzle that will burn off this morning and become mostly sunny this afternoon, temperatures will again rise into the 70s with rather high humidity continuing.

Thursday will be another warm day. Again there is a chance of some fog and a slight chance of drizzle in the morning followed by clearing.

Friday will be slightly cooler as an onshore flow develops.

The weekend will be mild and mainly dry but there is a chance of showers Saturday afternoon as a cold front crosses the area. Sunday should be dry and much cooler.

Mild again early next week with a chance of showers Monday and Tuesday.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas as Hurricane Epsilon moves well out in the Atlantic. Advisory effective between 11 am Thursday morning until 6 p.m. Friday evening. Advisories for high seas likely to continue over the weekend.

High pressure along the east coast will give us a moist southerly flow of mild air and despite plenty of clouds temperatures will rise to the low 70s. There is a low chance of showers before 2 p.m.

Mild tonight into Wednesday but there is a slight chance of drizzle. Skies will again have considerable clouds.

Thursday will be warm and slightly less humid.

Mainly dry weather Friday through the weekend, temperatures on Friday will be a little cooler and milder again on Saturday. A cold front crossing the area Saturday night with cooler air for Sunday.

Strong high pressure off the coast will give us a light southeasterly flow of mild air today, skies will be partly sunny.

Quite mild the rest of the week with most highs in the 70s. The only chance of rain will be Wednesday morning with some drizzle or light rain. Humidity will also start to rise especially on Wednesday and Thursday.

At this point the weekend looks dry, temperatures will be mild on Saturday but a cold front will cross the area causing Sunday’s temperatures to be somewhat lower. The weekend should be dry with only a slight chance of showers with the cold front.

The storm that gave our area the steady rain yesterday has moved offshore and high pressure will move into the area today. We should see mostly sunny skies but it will be cool with highs near 60.

Overnight temperatures will fall into the 30s in most of the area and with clear skies and light winds patchy frost is likely and a frost advisory is in effect.

Sunday will again be mostly sunny with temperatures a couple of degrees milder than today.

Mainly dry and mild weather next week as high pressure will be in control of our weather. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s on Monday and in the low 70s Tuesday through Friday.
