The system that gave us 7 inches of snow yesterday has moved well out into the Atlantic as cold high pressure builds from the Midwest states. Today will be a partly sunny and cold day with most temperatures staying below freezing, however the winds will be light so it won’t feel as cold as it could.
A weak frontal system will affect our area on Tuesday with light snow mainly from daybreak to the early afternoon, accumulations should range between 1-3 inches.
Wednesday will be a dry day but with continued cold temperatures.
The next chance of snow will be Thursday into Friday. At this time it does not appear that it will be a major storm but we could again have some snow accumulations.
Cold weather will continue into the weekend and there is some indications of a possible storm on Sunday but at this time it is only a slight chance.
