Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and the heavy rain from the remnants of Tropical storm Fred has moved to our east. Overnight rain in Clifton totaled .65″. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 75 in Clifton down to 71 at High Point. Winds are from the southwest and the humidity remains high with dew points in the 70s.

The remains of Tropical Storm Fred has moved into New York state and the rain from the system has moved to our east. Skies will become mostly sunny today but there is still a risk of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will be well up into the 80s and it will continue to be humid with dew points near 70.
Most of Friday should be dry with only a chance of an evening shower. It will continue to be quite warm and humid.
Unsettled weather for the weekend as Tropical Storm Henri will be moving up the coast. At this time the storm is expected to move to our east and move toward the Cape Cod area on Sunday. At this time it appears that only our coastal areas will be affected with high seas and some rain. Regardless of the storm’s path we should continue to have humid conditions with some showers and thunderstorms likely.
Quite warm and humid conditions Monday through at least Wednesday with still a chance of showers on Monday.
