Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some scattered showers in parts of the area. Temperatures are still quite warm with readings ranging from 76 in Clifton down to 65 at High Point. Winds are light from the north.

Today will be much cooler and a little less humid as a front has moved to our south and we should have a light onshore flow. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of some showers.
The front will start to move northward on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies continuing, it should be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures but the humidity will rise by the end of the day.
A cold front will cross the area Monday night preceded by warm and humid conditions along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday will be less humid but it will stay warm along with partly sunny skies.
The remnants of Hurricane Ida may influence our weather Wednesday into Thursday with the possibility of heavy rain.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday morning for easterly winds to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is a warm 77 degrees.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
