The cold front will pass through our area early Tuesday morning followed by drier air on Tuesday, but it will still be warm with highs again in the 80s.

The remains of Hurricane Ida will give our area some heavy rain Wednesday into Thursday morning and depending on the track will determine how much rainfall we will receive; there is a potential of 3-5 inches of rain with some higher amounts possible.

After the storm much drier air will be with us on Friday and should last through much of the holiday weekend. Temperatures will be near normal Friday through Sunday and become somewhat warmer and more humid on Labor Day.
