Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. are about 15 degrees colder than this time yesterday ranging from 50 in Clifton down to 42 at Walpack, these readings are actually still above normal for mid October. Winds are light from the west.

The cold front that caused the showers yesterday has moved well offshore and high pressure in the middle of the country builds eastward. Today will be mostly clear in the morning but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon along with a chance of some sprinkles. High temperatures will be more fall like with highs in the 60s.

Tomorrow will also be breezy and we again will have mostly clear skies in the morning but with increasing clouds in the afternoon along with another chance of sprinkles.

After a cool morning on Tuesday a more southwesterly flow will bring milder air in the afternoon.

Wednesday through Friday look to be dry with above normal temperatures but not as warm as what we experienced the last few days.

Cooler again next weekend and we should stay rain free.

A southerly flow of unseasonably warm air will be with us today ahead of a strong cold front that will pass through early this evening accompanied by showers and possibly a strong thunderstorm mainly from 6-8 p.m. The front will be followed by much cooler air later tonight.

Those who like fall weather, your time has come, as temperatures on Sunday will be slightly below normal, which will feel cold compared to the well above normal temperatures we have had so far this month. High temperatures will be only in the low 60s and it will be breezy. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

Mainly dry weather next week. Monday and Tuesday will be cool, but milder air is expected Wednesday through Friday. The only chance of showers will be ahead of a cold front Thursday night into Friday followed by cooler weather for next weekend.

Today will be warm again as southwest flow around high pressure to our south dominates our weather. Skies will be partly sunny and it will be rather humid again with dew points in the 60s.

A strong cold front is expected to cross our are late tomorrow afternoon preceded by a brisk southwest flow of warm and humid air. Showers will accompany the front followed by much cooler and drier air by tomorrow night.

It will feel much more like fall on Sunday with cool and breezy conditions along with low humidity.

Dry weather for much of next week. Monday will still be breezy with less wind on Tuesday. High temperatures will be near normal Monday and Tuesday with slightly above normal readings the rest of the week. Humidity will be low throughout the week as dew points drop to the 40s.

High pressure will give us a more westerly flow today and we should see more sunshine with warm temperatures both today and again on Friday with highs both days approaching 80. The humidity will remain on the high side with dew points in the 60s.

A strong cold front will come through our area Saturday afternoon or evening producing showers. Temperatures and humidity will be high before the frontal passage. Also southwest winds will gust around 25 mph.

Cooler and much less humid on Sunday and it still will be breezy as temperatures fall closer to normal.

Today will again start off cloudy but we may see some breaks by this afternoon as high pressure will be over our area. Temperatures again will rise to the low to mid 70s which is nearly 10 degrees above normal.

A cold front will cause showers on Saturday. Temperatures prior to the front will rise again to near 80.

Cooler and much drier air on Sunday and should extend into early next week. Although it will be cooler temperatures will actually still be a bit above normal.
