Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and there is a wide range in temperatures with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 42 in Clifton down to 24 at Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will give us another nice mid December day today with mostly sunny skies, mild temperatures and light winds. There is a weak cold front that will cross our area this afternoon but with no precipitation expected.
Wednesday will have more clouds as a weak warm front approaches our area but high temperatures will once again be in the 50s. The warm front may cause a shower Wednesday night.
Thursday should be the mildest day of the week as a warm front moves to our north and a brisk southwesterly flow develops, highs will be in the low 60s.
Friday again will be a nice and mild day with temperatures a bit lower than on Thursday.
After a dry and mild day on Friday rain is expected on Saturday followed be clearing and cooler weather for Sunday.
Some models are indicating a possible coastal storm for next Tuesday which will give us a chance of rain or snow.
