Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 74 in Clifton down to 64 at Pequest and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure ridge in our area today will give us mostly sunny skies with very hot temperatures. High temperatures will be well up into the 90s and with dew points in the upper 60s will raise heat indexes to near 100 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.
Very hot with increasing humidity on Thursday as dew points rise to the low 70s. A weak cold front may cause some showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Still very hot with slightly less humidity Friday through the weekend along with mostly sunny skies each day. Another cold front may touch of some showers and thunderstorms late Sunday into early next week. After high tempertures near 100 on Sunday it will become less hot Monday and Tuesday.
