Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and once again temperatures are quite warm with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 77 in Clifton down to 62 at Sandyston and Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly.

One more very hot day today with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures approaching 100 degrees. The humidity will not be too oppressive with dew points falling to the low 60s in the afternoon. Some records highs are likely. There is a slight to low chance of a late day or evening shower but most places with be rain free. A heat advisory continues in effect.
A cold front will cross the area on Monday with showers and thunderstorms likely, some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and strong gusty winds. High temperatures will not be as hot but it will be more humid with dew points rising to the low 70s.
High pressure will then build into our region on Tuesday giving us plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.
The rest of the week temperatures will be at or slightly above normal along with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers Wednesday through Friday.
At this point next weekend looks to be mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures continuing.

TUESDAY – JUL 26 – Partly sunny and less humid, high in the upper 80s.
WEDNESDAY – JUL 27 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s, chance of a shower at night.
THURSDAY – JUL 28 – Partly sunny and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 90.
FRIDAY – JUL 29 – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower, high near 90.
SATURDAY – JUL 30 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s.
MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisories will be in effect from 2 p.m. this afternoon through 8 p.m. Monday evening for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is 76 degrees.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Thursday.
