A strong cold front will cross the area by this afternoon accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms, it will become breezy with winds becoming northwest this afternoon. Clearing and becoming much cooler and less humid air just in time for the beginning of autumn.
Friday will be windy and very cool with highs only in the low 60s with wind chills in the 50s.
After a very cool Saturday morning temperatures will moderate for the rest of the weekend along with less wind and dry conditions.
A frontal system may give us some showers late Sunday night into Monday followed by dry and cool weather for Tuesday and Wednesday.
