Weak high pressure will be moving off the coast and we will again have plenty of clouds today with continued cool temperatures but still slightly above normal.

Milder on Thursday but a frontal system will give us rain mainly in the afternoon but there is a low chance of scattered showers in the morning that may be mixed with snow well inland.

Mild on Friday with rain ending around noon, temperatures will slowly fall by late in the day.

This weekend should be dry with cooler temperatures but still slightly above normal for mid January.

Milder early next week with a low chance of showers Tuesday afternoon.

A weak disturbance is moving well south and east of our area this morning with just a few rain and snow showers that should end by 9 a.m with no snow accumulation. Clearing by this afternoon and we will have seasonably mild temperatures with highs in the mid-upper 40s.

High pressure will then be in control of our weather Tuesday through the day on Thursday, temperatures will continue to be slightly above normal.

A rather strong low pressure area will move to the Great Lakes as a cold front approaches our area. Rain from this system is expected Thursday night through Friday night that may be moderate at times. Winds will become strong as a cold front pushes through the area Friday afternoon or evening.

Dry weather can be expected for the weekend with near seasonable temperatures as high pressure builds into our area.

Weak high pressure building into our area will give us partly sunny skies with near seasonable temperatures today. Northwest winds will be a little brisk this afternoon and tonight.

With high pressure in the area on Sunday we could expect another partly to mostly sunny day with continued seasonable temperatures but with less wind than today. We should see an increase in clouds Sunday night with a low chance of light snow during the early morning hours of Monday. At this time only a dusting of accumulation is possible.

High pressure will dominate our weather much of next week with temperatures at or a little above normal.

A storm system will give us a good chance of rain on Friday into next weekend, the precipitation may start off as snow late Thursday night.
