Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are still mild with early readings ranging from 53 in Clifton down to 42 at High Point. Winds are gusty out of the northwest.

After the warm weather yesterday today will be much cooler as high pressure builds into the area from the Great Lakes. We will have a partly sunny day and it will be breezy with some gusts to 25 mph. With low humidity and the winds there is a threat of some brush fires.
High pressure will be in our area for the weekend with mostly sunny skies both days and seasonably cool temperatures.
A rather dry stretch of weather is expected next week with temperatures moderating through the week, Monday should be in the 60s, the 70s Tuesday and Wednesday and the 80s Thursday and Friday.
