Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and once again it is unseasonably warm with early temperatures ranging from 65 in Clifton down to 53 at Pequest. Winds are light from the southwest.

After our record breaking April heatwave today will be much cooler with plenty of clouds and an onshore wind. Temperatures will not climb much from our present readings with highs near or just above the 70 degree mark. Showers are likely mainly later this afternoon through this evening.

Sunday will be mainly cloudy but it should be dry with temperatures slightly above normal.

A frontal system will likely give us more well needed rain on Monday.

Mainly dry weather the rest of next week, temperatures will be cool Tuesday and Wednesday then rise to above normal levels Thursday and Friday.

A high pressure ridge extending from Bermuda to our area will give us another hot day today with light southwest winds. Skies will start off clear but we should see an increase in high clouds by late in the day.

Much cooler over the weekend with showers likely on Saturday as a weak low pressure area moves up the coast. Sunday should be dry but skies will be mostly cloudy.

A frontal system will likely give us showers on Monday.

Dry weather should prevail the rest of next week with cool weather for Tuesday and Wednesday becoming milder Thursday and Friday.

Ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate our weather today and on Friday with highs both days well up into the 80s with a 90 degree reading possible in some places. Winds will be lighter than yesterday but with low humidity there is still a chance of brush fires in our area.

An area of moisture will move into our area on Saturday with showers likely and with the clouds and onshore wind highs will only be in the 60s.

During the day on Sunday it will be mostly cloudy but as a cold front approaches there will be a good chance of showers late Sunday night into Monday.

Mainly dry with seasonably cool temperatures Tuesday into Wednesday.

Again there will be a chance of brush fires today as the humidity will be low and there will be a rather brisk wind.

Record highs are likely Thursday and Friday as the high pressure ridge continues to dominate our weather. Highs both day will be well up into the 80s.

Not as warm over the weekend as we will have more clouds and a chance of showers.
